How does hiring through AngelHome actually work?
AngelHome arranges domestic helper employment in Hong Kong — Filipino and Indonesian helpers, elderly and child care, confinement nannies and household assistants. Share your address, household needs and budget; we arrange interview matching and explain the fee range before you confirm, then sign and process the visa.
Coverage follows Hong Kong's 18 districts across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. District, estate and street pages record home-visit and booking tips so the meeting is planned before anyone travels.
Hiring a helper is governed by Hong Kong's Employment Ordinance and Immigration Department rules. Before you book, the Labour Department's FDH page and ImmD's visa guide explain minimum wage, contract term and insurance.
When you enquire, share the district or estate, household members and care recipients, the chores (cooking, cleaning, elderly or child care) and how to reach you. Clearer details give a better match direction and fee range, and fewer back-and-forth messages.
If your situation changes — for example you first wanted a Filipino helper and later prefer an Indonesian one — we pause, explain the new fee and process, and only continue with your approval.
Hong Kong is divided into 18 districts, with each district's District Officer (DO) representing the Government at the district level.
